Hanging lamp

Our shades work especially well as hanging lamps. The construction is identical except the spider ring goes on the bottom. We then provide a bulb clip and 2 inch extender to attach the shade to a standard A19 bulb that is hanging from the power wire.

If you are going to wire the hanging lamp yourself, then you might want the spider on top. If so, be sure to let us know or order a shade only.

The power wire supporting the shade is usually attached to a ceiling electrical box. Sometimes the wire is fed through a decorative chain. If you don't have a ceiling electrical box, you can purchase a bulb E26 socket with a long wire to a switch and to a 110V plug such as this one at Amazon.

When ordering make sure you specify the shade is for a hanging lamp so we put the spider on the bottom.
